H10 Ocean Suites, Fuerteventura

Flew to Fuerteventura with Easyjet and Tui holidays. Was all inclusive for 7 nights sharing a room with my daughter and asked for the beds to be split. Loved the vibe of the hotel the minute we arrived. Julien checked us in and gave us all the information we needed. I asked for an upgrade (had to pay extra) for a pool view room they were also able to accommodate two room side by side (was travelling with a friend and her kid) If you have kids get a room on the pool side that has the slides. You can email the hotel direct and make the ask. Breakfast is great and in general the food is OK that includes the Italian restaurant which is only open 3 days a week so book when you get there. Re food, I guess it all depends on what you like/don't like. For what we paid I think it was actually pretty good value. Think they could do more Spanish dishes, perhaps some theme nights that are a bit more obvious. Kids didn't use the kids club but I think probably better for the younger kids. The pool and area around the pool is really clean, all the common areas are spotless. All the staff are lovely and are really great with the kids. Showers were hot, pressure really good not a trickle! Overall we had a quiet room, aircon worked really well, had to turn it off at one point was cold. I liked the fact that this is not a big hotel, so feel warm, cosy, inviting rather than soulless. In terms of Correlejo, within a 10 min walk you are at the beach (windy!) and town centre. The Spar supermarket close to the hotel is great and also the restaurant downstairs next to the Spar is brilliant/good value/no fuss if you are bored of the food at the hotel. Download the hotel app very useful. I found the bed hard (old bones maybe LOL), but my kids slept well and the pillow are a bit odd but you do get 3 per bed.

Could not find fault with H10 Ocean Suites situated just off Correlejos Main Street. Check in with Serena was very smooth, professional and friendly. I arrived early and she promised she would call me when the room was ready. I got the call within an hour and the room was available. It was a nice size with a seating area within the bedroom and a TV which can swivel towards the couch or the bed. Bathroom was clean, a good size and well equipped with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Shower was good. Breakfast was really nice. Fresh omelets available to order. Lots of choices to suit everyone. There are two really nice pools with a snack bar at one serving nice food at reasonable prices. Check out was excellent with Khadija making the extra effort to ensure I could take a shower in a courtesy room before my evening departure. All the staff I met were excellent.

Lovely hotel, public areas in very high standard however bedrooms could do with a bit of TLC. Bed settee was very uncomfortable and stained. Ground floor suite with pool view is ideal and close to pool bar. Staff all very helpful particularly the pool attendant( sorry didnt get his name but the older Spanish gentleman was so friendly and helpful, always ready to help with umbrellas and sunbeds(5stars) Entertainment could have been better, bingo was not needed

Pool and gardens are beautiful, breakfast and dinner are excellent. Room was good, but floorboards broken. Overall the facility looks allright an attempt was made giving everything a fresh cover of paint. One pool is accessible for less mobile guests. Location to shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance

From the minute we arrived and were welcomed with a glass of fizz we had a great holiday! We arrived at mid day and were able to check into our room straight away which meant we could enjoy an afternoon by the pool. The room was comfortable and had a big balcony and bathroom. A few touch ups needed to old furniture and the ceiling in the bathroom, but nothing that affected our stay. Beds were comfy and loads of storage for clothes! The hotel itself was clean everywhere and well maintained, even with recycling bins for the all the re-usable cups by the pool as part of their eco strategy. I is There are two pool areas. We had one day at the pool where the activities happen but it wasn’t for us (loud music and guests!) so we spent the rest of the time at the quieter pool which was lovely! We were always able to get pool beds, but if you want a brolly you need to be up early or wait until about 3pm when it starts to get quieter. Food was great. We only did a couple of breakfasts but lunch we had at the pool bar was was brilliant with things like salmon bagel, tuna poke bowls as well as wraps and mozzarella sticks on the menu. Evening meal was good too with a lot of variety. All drinks were branded and cocktails are made fresh rather than out of a gap or jug which made a huge difference. Location couldn’t be better - it is off of the main strip so it is quiet but it’s a couple of minutes walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff were brilliant. All so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Juan on reception who kept us calm and helped when our transfer didn’t pick us up on the way back to the airport - he was great! We will 100% be back to stay next time we go to Corralejo!
